Lubulona was founded by the German-Spanish couple Tina and Jordi in Barcelona, Spain, in 2017. They created their brand name “Lu-bu-lona” by merging together parts of the names of their home cities: Jordi lives in Barcelona (Spain) and Tina lived in Ludwigsburg (Germany) before moving to Spain. Tina is the creative mastermind of the brand.
Lubulona’s philosophy is to create modern, minimalistic and colourful wooden toys for children which inspire both boys and girls to explore, build and play with.
All of Lubulona’s toys are manufactured entirely in Europe from high quality beech wood and comply with European toy safety standards, only using paints and glues which are EN71 certified and therefore safe to be used for toys. In order to protect the environment Lubulona only uses environmentally friendly packaging such as cardboard boxes and fabric bags.
